Chelsea did the job and are three games away from making the Champions League, if they take the substitutes route and win the Europa League. They will need to beat Frankfurt, then the winners of Arsenal and Valencia to achieve this. However, the top four is a definite possibility and all eyes are back on this surely.

Burnley are still not mathematically safe, although with all but mathematics would suggest their season is pretty much achieved. Whether or not playing for position is the new target is unknown, but the outcome of the weekends results will be factor in if Burnley need to be more proactive so to speak.

Team News

Eden Hazard’s apparent injury is not as severe as we initially were told, therefore could be considered, whereas Antonio Rudiger will not feature.

Pedro is in pole position to retain his place with Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi also looking to feature.

Sean Dyche has no reported injuries and are on a three-match winning run unlikely make stick with a similar set up pending the final eleven.

The Verdict

When observing the implied odds, a number of thoughts go on regarding the estimate of pricing of particular markets factored on the implied match odds pricing, which the high proportion of punters will see before anything else. Almost like the match odds give an experienced tipster/compiler an idea of what certain win prices should be and there are a few markets which are fair and backable on paper.

On the plus side we have Chelsea’s above average efforts at keeping clean sheets, but face a Burnley side, who have won their last three to all but secure their status in the top flight. It may be that if Burnley are chasing a respectable mid-table finish, they will go for it. However, Chelsea have the ideology and expectation of getting back into the Champions League and the match prices imply they should win this with some ease.

It is fair to say that Sean Dyche has got his job done for the club and will need to keep his players motivated. Knowing Chelsea’s near fortress attitude at defending at the bridge, Burnley will be kept at some bay and there is little point of Burnley’s stars burning themselves out. For sure, Chelsea’s five clean sheets in the last seven cannot be ignored.

Burnley’s average goal count is just over one a game on the road, and almost two a game conceded and sit with nine defeats from seventeen. Chelsea have lost once at home, but have conceded just ten at home all season, the joint fewest in the league in home performances.

The win to nil is backable at around evens with most, but 11/10 with BetVictor and feel fairly confident this will land.
