In what could be the closest derby of them all in the Premier League, Chelsea are heavily odds on in which will be an ACCA breaker for punters if the curse of the early kick off applies on a Sunday. We have two contrasting sides of a team that scores a few versus a team that concedes plenty.

Fulham have not won at the bridge since 1979 and bottom of the league and a single point from seven on the road does not bode well for Fulham. However, London derbies can throw up some shocks, but history in this fixture says otherwise.

Team News

Eden Hazard is the only notable injury concern for Chelsea this weekend, though Maurizio Sarri expects to have the Belgian available for Sunday's west London derby against Fulham.

Sarri made a number of changes for Thursday's comfortable Europa League win over PAOK but should restore his usual Premier League XI here.

The only doubt in the team is between Ross Barkley and Matteo Kovacic in the third central midfield position.

Joe Bryan was back on the bench last weekend after a seven-week absence due to a hamstring injury. He will push for a start against Chelsea.

André-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Kevin McDonald remain injury concerns for the Cottagers this weekend.

André Schürrle returns to Stamford Bridge for the first time since leaving Chelsea in 2015, while Claudio Ranieri will face the club he used to manage.

Potential Chelsea Starting XI: Arrizabalaga, Azpillcueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Hazard, Morata and Hazard

Potential Fulham Starting XI: Rico, Christie, Odoi, Mawson, Bryan, Chambers, Seri, Sessegnon, Cairney, Schurrie and Mitrovic

The Verdict

When you see a side 5’s ON you have to consider other ways of finding a winning market, but there will be plenty of accumulator sides included on 000’s of betting slips across the country. Bookmakers have the prices well covered.

From a 1/5 poke, generally looking at markets such as the both teams to score and win to win markets sees both sides netting at a shade of odds on at 19/20 with a win to nil chalked at 11/10 with BetVictor. In addition the both teams to score market is HUGE compared to the game seeing three or more goals in the game at just 4/11. This implies one of two things, Chelsea netting three goals without reply or a combination of three or more goals between the sides. The blues are a short 4/6 on netting three or more in the tie and a fourth goal netting a BIG boost to 15/8.

Effectively the over 3.5 goals market is still odds on at 17/20, one market I am willing to give some consideration is the Skybet request a bet insurance market and the particular bet we have is even money.

The stipulation is if one of the following outcomes fall, it will trigger a refund, but any more and it is a losing bet. The bet is for over 1.5 goals, 5+ Chelsea corners, 3+ Fulham corners and both sides to get at least one booking each.

On the stats, the goals are truly covered, 2/3 Chelsea’s last home saw 5 or more corners, with all of Fulham’s last 3 away. Similarly, on the cards 2/3 Chelsea’s last three at home have seen them with a booking and all of Fulham’s last three. With the London Derby roar and feistiness, hopefully this bet comes home with ease.

At even money, with some insurance, there are worse even money coin toss bets out there!
