The San Siro hosts a top of the table clash as Inter Milan put their 100% domestic record on the line against Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus side.
Inter made it six wins from six away at Sampdoria last weekend despite Alexis Sanchez’s red card, as the Chilean had an eventful first start, which also included his first goal for the side. That red card will rule him out of the game on Sunday and force Antonio Conte into a change, however Romelu Lukaku could return after missing the midweek trip to Barcelona with injury.
Inter impressed at the Nou Camp but ultimately returned empty handed despite an impressive display, where they led after two minutes before being undone by Luis Suarez’s double in the second half. Individual brilliance from Lionel Messi was the telling factor, however the game should’ve been out of sight by half time, with a wasteful Inter being made to rue missed chances.
Juventus will be full of confidence after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen during the week, courtesy of goals from Gonzalo Higuain, Federico Bernardeschi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sat 2nd in Serie A, it has been a less than convincing start from Sarri’s men, with suspect defending and at times a blunt attack leading to some hard-fought wins. They have bounced back well from back to back draws with Atletico Madrid, where they gave away a two-goal lead, and Fiorentina to win their next four, and as a result this has got the makings of a classic encounter.
Romelu Lukaku remains a doubt for Inter Milan after missing the midweek trip to Barcelona, whilst Alexis Sanchez is suspended.
Juventus will be without Pjaca, Chiellini, Di Sciglio and Douglas Costa, whilst Danilo remains a doubt at right back.

Master-tactician Conte will be looking to outwit his Italian counterpart Maurizio Sarri after coming close to pulling off a masterclass at the Nou Camp on Wednesday. Setting up with his trademark 3-5-2, Inter have won every game this season in the league, and there are reasons to believe they should be confident of doing so once again against Juventus.
The back three is becoming settled, with De Vrij, Godin and Skriniar making up a defence that has only conceded twice in the league this season. Although they are susceptible to pace on the break, as shown by Barcelona’s winning goal on Wednesday, Juventus’ front line is currently lacking the pace to get in behind. Higuain and Ronaldo do offer an aerial option, yet Inter allow teams space out wide to cross, relying on the aerial ability of their centre halves to alleviate that threat.
The wing backs have been fundamental to Inter’s play this season, with Asamoah particularly impressing at left wing back. He will come up against make shift right back Juan Cuadrado or Danilo, who is working his way back to full fitness. Inter will look to target this, with the creative Sensi looking to drift into these areas and link the play. The summer signing from Sassuolo has been Inter’s stand out performer once again this season, averaging 2.2 key passes per game and racking up 2 assists, and with Juventus setting up in a narrow 4-3-1-2, there will be space out wide for the Italian maestro to exploit.
Furthermore, Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku will fancy their chances of netting against a Juventus defence still adapting to playing without Chiellini, with their vulnerabilities shown against top class opposition in Atletico and Napoli where they conceded a combined 5 goals in these games. Martinez has been linking up well with Lukaku, and their relationship sees Martinez often dropping off into the space between midfield and defence, allowing Lukaku to isolate an opposition centre half. With Inter looking to provide the Belgian with plenty of crosses, he is able to create 1v1s with opposition defenders in the box, and has been able to capitalise on this more than once this season. Given Juventus’ narrow set up, it once again makes Inter’s attack look strong, as they will look to attack wide and target these areas.
As a result, Inter are appealing with draw no bet at 4/5 (Bet365). For all of Inter’s defensive resilience and impressive form, it is hard to ignore the attacking talent Juventus have, and as a result taking the safer option of draw no bet in what will be a tight game still offers value.
Playing right wing back, Candreva represents a value bet against the narrow defence to have a shot on target alongside Stefano Sensi. With a goal already to his name this season, Inter look to overload narrow defences with their wing backs making late runs into the box, and as a result often get shots away as a result. Paired up with top scorer and set piece expert Stefano Sensi (who is averaging 2.7 shots per game), both to have over 0.5 shots on target is 5/4 (William Hill), and represents a good value option in what might be a tight game.
