Jackpot Struck As All 20 Teams Score In Premier League GW 15

It’s safe to say there will be plenty of people out there aching to buy Charlie Austin a beer as his 93rd minute goal meant that both teams to score happened in every single Premier League game this week, a feat that has not been done in over 8 years.

Jackpot Struck As All 20 Teams Score In Premier League Gameweek 15

To make it even harder to believe, the last time all 20 Premier League teams managed to score in a single game week was November 2010, which ironically also came during game week 15. Its hard to believe that many punters will have been betting on this, however so far, many bookmakers have already come out and stated that punters did in fact place this longshot of a bet, with odds of 400/1 or above (depending on the bookmaker)

The games were as follows;

  • Bournemouth v Huddersfield (2-1) at 20/23
  • Brighton v Crystal Palace (3-1) at 21/20
  • West ham v Cardiff (3-1) at 3/4
  • Watford v Manchester city (1-2) at 20/23
  • Burnley v Liverpool (1-3) at Evens
  • Everton v Newcastle (1-1) at 10/11
  • Fulham v Leicester (1-1) at 8/11
  • Wolves v Chelsea (2-1) at 5/6
  • Manchester United v Arsenal (2-2) at 8/15
  • Tottenham v Southampton (3-1) at 5/6

Although looking at it now seems fairly simple to predict, it was thanks to many late goals with Cardiff, Watford, Palace and Southampton all scoring goals in the final 10 minutes of their games.

Albeit a sickening blow to many bookmakers with a £10 bet on the selections on bet365 returning at a huge 441/1 for one lucky customer. Bet365’s Steve French did mention the positives from the game week, being wolves snatching 3 points from Chelsea after trailing for a long time and Newcastle surviving an ambush of attacks to take a point from Everton will have gone a long way re-balance the scales in terms of losses for the night.

Another punter from an unknown bookie also placed a €15 bet on it and returned a whopping €6,505. Don’t spend it all at once!

After seeing many punters walk away with very heavy pockets from the both teams to score market, I think we can expect a huge rise in the amount of both teams to score bets for the Premier League over the coming weeks. It surely can’t happen again so soon, can it?
