QPR will be looking to return to winning ways following their fifth consecutive league defeat. An in-form Bristol City side was the latest Championship team to inflict misery on Steve McClaren and co.
So far, the Hoops have defeated Leeds United and Portsmouth to get to the fifth round with the latter forcing a replay in which QPR ran out 2-0 winners.
The cup will offer some respite for a QPR side which has struggled since the turn of the year.
Watford, on the other hand, have been performing well above expectations and the Hornets currently sit in 8th spot in the Premier League table.
Former Watford boss Marco Silva saw his Everton side become the latest team to taste defeat against a well-drilled Watford.
Watford beat non-league Woking in the third round, running out 2-0 victors, before making light-work of Newcastle United in round four winning by the same scoreline.
The hosts will be without Olamide Shodipo, Sean Goss, Angel Rangel and Geoff Cameron who are all sidelined with injuries. Steve McClaren will have to rely on his tired team to pull through in what has been a tough past few weeks for his side.
Javi Garcia could name a much-changed side from the one which beat Everton, but he will have to make do without the services of Isaac Success and Sebastian Prodl who are both injured. Roberto Pereya and Kiko Femenia are both doubts as they recover from their injuries.
Potential QPR Starting XI: Lumley, Bidwell, Lynch, Hall, Furlong, Freeman, Scowen, Luongo, Samuel, Wells, Smith
Potential Watford Starting XI: Gomes, Janmaat, Kabasele, Britos, Holebas, Quina, Chalobah, Cleverley, Penaranda, Gray, Sema

Andre Gray has netted on five occasions this season and he will be looking to add to this tally against a leaky QPR back-line.
The hosts will be keen to end their recent slump but they could find themselves in trouble against a Watford side which has only suffered two defeats in their last ten in all competitions.
