Bournemouth have had a pretty decent season so far and currently sit 12th and 11 points clear of the bottom three, although this is largely due to their early season form with October being their best month so far as they stayed unbeaten winning 3 out of 4 games only conceding once. Since then however Bournemouth have lost 11 of their last 15 games and will need to make sure they pick up points soon to avoid being dragged into a relegation dog fight. Callum Wilson is Bournemouth’s key player as he has scored 10 goals in 21 games this season, he is touch and go to play against Chelsea and Bournemouth will find it hard to get any sort of result if he is unable to play.
Chelsea are currently having a very hit and miss season under Maurizio Sarri but still find themselves in the top 4 but Manchester United are hot on their heels looking to take that last Champions League spot. Chelsea have been involved in more cup action than league action recently and have overcome Tottenham but have also played teams lower down the leagues such as Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday. Eden Hazard is going to be key for Chelsea to get a result on Wednesday night as he has currently registered 10 goals and 10 assists in the league so far this season and is no doubt the talisman in the Chelsea side. Chelsea will also be looking to new man Gonzalo Higuain to fire in the goals that Chelsea need and he will be looking to open his account this Wednesday.
Callum Wilson will be assessed. Solanke is set to return. Mepham could make his debut.
Chelsea have no new injury concerns.
Potential Bournemouth Starting XI: Boruc, Clyne, Cook, Ake, Smith, Brooks, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser, King, Wilson
Potential Chelsea Starting XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Willian, Higuain, Hazard

Key Stats & Facts

- Bournemouth 19/4 (BetVictor)
- Draw 17/5 (Betfair)
- Chelsea 4/6 (Betfair)
Chelsea have been in pretty decent form recently apart from a few slip ups and with the results Bournemouth have been getting of late, bar their win at home to West Ham, I fancy Chelsea to win this one but expect Bournemouth to make it tough for them and not roll over.
I’m predicting a close game but one that Chelsea will nick. I'm going to dive into the cards market also with Jefferson Lerma to be carded. Lerma has been carded 9 times this season, which is more than anybody else in the Premier League.
Football. Focus mainly on the EFL. Derby County fan. Witnessed the Worst Premier League team ever. Watched Bobby Zamora score the 90th minute goal to send 10 man QPR to the Premier League at our expense. More lows than highs so far, but we are on our way back.
