Betfair Football Jackpot – Correct Score Pick 4 Preview
France v Peru
France have conceded exactly 1 goal in 5 of their last 6 games. They have scored in each of those 6 games.
Peru haven’t defeated a European team in the World Cup in their last 5 encounters.
The only ever head to Head between these two ended 1-0 to Peru at the Parc Des Princes in 1982.
Peru will want at least a point here and they were much the better team in their defeat to Denmark. France struggle to keep clean sheets so I fancy Peru to score but it’s hard to see them winning this one.
Predictions: 1-1, 2-1, 3-1.
Argentina v Croatia
Argentina have struggled through qualifying and seem overated. Defensively they are poor and couldn’t beat Iceland, they are reliant on Messi to provide the spark, something he is capable of doing.
Croatia have a strong midfield and attack with players that have gone far in the Champions League. They were hardly tested vs Nigeria and their defence will have to be switched on to stand a chance here.
In their previous 5 meetings, Argentina have won just 2.
Predictions: 1-1, 2-1, 1-2.
Brazil v Costa Rica
Brazil only lost one game in qualifying for the World Cup. They drew their first game and will be going all out to win this one.
Costa Rica aren’t in great form, they’ve kept most of their 2014 squad but they aren’t as effective as they were then.
Brazil have kept clean sheets in 5 of their last 6.
Predictions: 2-0, 3-0.
Nigeria v Iceland
Nigeria were dreadful in their opener and failed to show any ambition. They will have to attack this game but as Argentina saw, Iceland are very hard to break down.
Iceland have a more rigid and well-known formation and each player has belief in each other. They finished above the likes of Croatia, Turkey and Ukraine in qualifying and they will be highlighting this as a winnable game.
Predictions: 0-0, 0-1, 1-1.
