Stuart Bingham v Zhao Xintong Betting Preview, Odds & Tips
- Date: 15/02/2019

- Channel: BBC Wales and Eurosport
These two players crossed paths only a week ago in the first round of the World Grand Prix at Cheltenham Racecourse when Stuart Bingham ran out a comfortable winner 4-1 making back to back centuries in the opening two frames. The next day Stuart put in a puzzling performance against Kyren Wilson where he lost 4-0 and looked woefully out of sorts. That has been the hallmark of Stuart's season with his levels of performance not displaying the level of consistency we expect form him however, in winning the English Open he showed that he retains the ability to win tournaments but mixed in he has lost five first round matches against lesser players. In yesterday’s fourth round match with Robbie Williams he made three centuries and has five in total for the week.
Zhao Xintong never really got a foothold in their encounter the week before so television viewers had no chance to see what he is capable of but this week in Wales he has knocked in six centuries so far showing what an exciting talent the twenty one year old is. The slight worry today is the match is on the feature table although Xintong did beat the Welsh teenage sensation Jackson Page on the exact table in the opening round.
Head To Head
- Zhao Xintong 0-3 Stuart Bingham
- Zhao Xintong – 2/1 (Boylesports)
- Stuart Bingham – 11/20 (Unibet)
With eleven centuries between these two fine break builders we will concentrate on the break markets for a bet and I particularly like Stuart Bingham to score at least one century at 5/6 with Bet365.
Our data at www.edwards-tips.co.uk tell us that these fluent players both go under the frames total a high percentage of their matches win or lose and we expected a price of about 3/4 so even money is small value.
