This is a game where you have a side who are blowing hot and cold versus a team that could make it four wins out of four. This is no surprise Manchester United are the quoted price at home at 3/4 and William Hill are willing to take them on as best industry price.
What we have learnt from the home side is their resilience to make a comeback, such as the turnaround being stunned by Newcastle recently and is a strong characteristic.
Everton’s wins have come at the expense of modest opposition and will be taken on by shrewd backers at 4/1 and are tasty at 23/18 not to lose the match. Playing even safer on the Asian handicap if Everton lose by one goal is 7/10 if you want extra insurance on Everton for a stake refund is something to consider.
Starting with Manchester United Jose Mourinho didn’t make a single substitution in Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to Juventus on Tuesday night and still has the same injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s visit of Everton.
Antonio Valencia returned to training at the start of the week and will be considered by Mourinho against Everton after missing out against Juventus. Mourinho expressed concerns over Romelu Lukaku’s form after losing to Juventus but the United boss has few other options at the moment.
Everton team news: André Gomes made his Everton debut in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace and was understandably rusty. It remains to be seen whether Marco Silva will start him here.
Yerry Mina was an unused substitute against Palace and might be considered here after another full week of training under his belt. Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye both recovered from injury to start against the Eagles and will continue in the starting XI on Sunday.
Ademola Lookman, Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin came off the bench and all played a direct hand in the two goals Everton scored. The latter pair will push for starts against United.
Potential Manchester United Starting XI: Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Rashford, Lukaku and Martial
Potential Everton Starting XI: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne, Gomes, Gueye, Bernard, Sigurdsson, Walcott and Richarlison

Only a few seasons ago, had you seen a 3/4 bet for united at home you may have stated banker material as Manchester United is like a fortress at home and in some respects are remaining unbeaten in 35/38 games at home. A few draws have chinned punters along the way, but shows how Jose’s men have progressed or not over time, without any discredit to Everton.
One bet, which supports the stats is a special market on Skybet, each team corners taken. They price up both to be awarded three plus at 4/11, four plus at 10/11 and five plus 9/4 and for braver punters six plus at 5/1 and seven or more each at 10/1.
Everton’s total corner count is fifty-nine averaging 6.55 per game. More interesting the last four games has averaged 10.25 corners awarded.
Manchester United have passed four or more corners in all but their opening home game this season and overall 7/9 games. With Everton’s attacking style breaking down the United defence, taking on the stats is surely worth a play?
