Introduction

Pixiebet is one of the more recently established gaming companies, with it being established in 2022 . In this review, we will go through this brand created by Vivaro Limited, and see how it holds up against the bigger brands out there and although unrealistic to make these comparisons already , it will give us a general idea of what this bookie brings to the table at this early stage.

Registration Process 4/5

  • Simple three step process
  • Basic information required
  • Automatic verification

Pixiebet Registration Screenshot

Creating an account with Pixiebet is a simple three-step process in which we only had to reveal very basic information.

Step one, as shown above, involves listing our name, gender, postcode, and email address. We clicked ‘Next’ to advance.

Pixiebet Registration Screenshot

All step two involved was revealing our birth date.

Step three, on the contrary, took a little longer to complete. Here, we were required to create a username and password for our Pixiebet account. We also had to type in our home address and preferred currency.

Pixiebet Registration

It got a little more interesting once we scrolled down as the bookmaker asked for how much we earn in a year – a little personal. Anyway, to conclude the process, we ticked whether we’d like to receive notifications for any special offers and agreed to the terms and conditions.

Our identity was then verified automatically, meaning we were ready to begin depositing and betting with Pixiebet.

Deposits & Withdrawal Options 4/5

  • Various payment options
  • Small maximum deposits
  • No fees

Punters can fund their Pixiebet account via debit card (Visa/Mastercard), Trustly, Payz (formerly ecoPayz), MuchBetter, Skrill, and NETELLER. There are several options to choose from, with no fees incurred for any of the methods. No cryptocurrencies can be used.

The minimum deposit while using debit cards or MuchBetter is £10, while it’s £5 for the rest of the methods. The maximum deposit for all options is £2,000, which might frustrate the high rollers.

Regarding withdrawals, there is a £10 minimum and £2,000 maximum in play for all of Pixiebet’s offered payment methods. The bookmaker states that punters should receive their funds between 2-3 days of their withdrawal being confirmed.

There are no withdrawal fees.

Depositing Funds

Pixiebet Deposit Screenshot

After creating our account, we immediately went about funding it. To do so, we clicked the plus icon at the top of the homepage which brought up the above screen.

While we initially found it difficult to work out due to the dark screen, there’s a small arrow to the side of the listed payment options which allows you to slide across. At first, we didn’t think you could deposit via debit card.

However, a quick slide showed that debit card was, in fact, an option and we began the process.

After filling in the basic financial information (card number, expiry date, and security code), we confirmed how much we wished to deposit before clicking the green ‘DEPOSIT’ icon.

Our account was funded immediately.

Withdrawing Winnings

Pixiebet Withdrawal Screenshot

We were fortunate enough to win our first bet. Well, we say fortunate. The odds were quite literally stacked in our favour. Thus, our win was small but we wished to withdraw the funds (£12.40) anyway.

To begin the withdrawal process, we clicked the plus icon next to our balance – located in the top right-hand corner of the homepage.

Pixiebet Withdrawal Screenshot

That brought up the above screen. We then clicked ‘Withdraw’ to advance to the next step.

Once again, we had to slide across to find debit card in order to withdraw. After that, we typed in how much we wished to take out of our account (£12.40). We moved on to the final step of the process after clicking the white ‘Withdraw’ icon.

A fresh screen was brought up, and all we had to do was click the green ‘WITHDRAW’ icon to conclude.

Our request was immediately received, and we’re able to check our withdrawal status in the Pending Withdrawals section.

Welcome Offer

  • No welcome offer for new customers

Unfortunately, there are no welcome offers for new customers to enjoy at time of writing this Pixiebet review. Should this change in the future we will update this section.

Sportsbook Promotions 1/5

  • No sports offers

This bookmaker currently offers no sportsbook promotions for its customer. A great shame.

Pixiebet VIP/Loyalty Programme

Pixiebet currently doesn’t boast a VIP or Loyalty Programme for its members.

Opinion

Pixiebet’s lack of sports promotions is a serious disappointment. With no offers available, the bookmaker will find it hard to retain the interest of customers. It’s not like their welcome offer is exactly overly generous either.

Pre-Match Offer 2.5/5

  • 27 sports make up sportsbook
  • Sufficient esports and specials coverage
  • Competitive and consistent odds

Pixiebet Pre-Match Offer Screenshot

Pixiebet’s sportsbook covers an array of sports. In total, 17 sports are offers. Their coverage is sufficient but far from extensive. However, the bookie does offer boosted odds on major events – a nice addition – and their horse racing offering is very impressive. There’s a dedicated page to the races.

To measure the quality of Pixiebet’s margins, we used the odds overround calculation. This is a percentage figure which is obtained when all the probabilities of an outcome of a bet are added together. Logically, this figure should add up to 100%, however, this does not take into consideration the profit made by the bookie. For this reason, it is commonly accepted that an odds overround of less than 110% indicates good odds.

To carry out our little experiment, we picked three random football matches from the Premier League, DFB-Pokal and Coupe de France. The results came to 103.78%, 106.94%, and 105.61% respectively, indicating that Pixiebet’s odds are both consistent and competitive.

Annoyingly, punters can only display odds as decimals. There’s no option for odds to be displayed as fractions. The minimum stake is set at 10p while the maximum is bet-dependent.

Placing a Bet

Pixiebet Place Bet Screenshot

There were limited betting options on the day of writing, but we nonetheless opted to place a football bet. We scanned the bookie’s options, eventually stumbling upon a fixture in the Women’s Continental Cup between West Ham and Chelsea – shown above.

Pixiebet Place Bet Screenshot

We had to back a Chelsea victory, so we clicked the 1.24 decimal odds. That bet immediately went into our betslip, located down the right-hand side of the homepage.

To place the bet, we confirmed our stake next to ‘GBP’ before clicking the ‘Place a Bet’ icon.

Pixiebet Place Bet Screenshot

Our bet was immediately placed.

Esports

The bookie’s esports coverage is sufficient. At the time of writing, there were Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Rainbox Six Dota 2 events available to bet on.

While there are various games covered, the markets offered are typically limited to match winner.

To ensure you make the most of Pixiebets’ esports offering, be sure to check out our esports betting tips to enhance your chance of success in this sphere.

Pixiebet – Other Specials

Pixiebet currently doesn’t offer any specials.

Cash Out & Bet Builder

Pixiebet’s Cash Out and Partial Cash Out features are spotty. It’s typically available for major in-play events, but not for every sport market.

The bookmaker does not offer a Bet Builder either.

Live Offer 2/5

  • Live coverage easy to access
  • Basic markets and live features
  • No livestreaming service

Pixiebet Live Offer Screenshot

We must note that at the time of writing, the football matches available were not of the highest quality. Thus, we might not have enjoyed Pixiebet’s full live coverage.

Nevertheless, what we did see was rather sub-par. While the bookie’s in-play markets are easily accessible, their coverage is weak. The features are basic (stats and match tracker), and only a select few in-play markets were offered on the games we checked out.

Unsurprisingly, punters cannot take advantage of a livestreaming service.

Security 4/5

  • Licensed by UK Gambling Commission
  • Several account limits
  • Responsible gambling section

Pixiebet Footer Screenshot

Pixiebet’s site is operated by Vivaro Limited, a company registered in Malta that holds a licence from the UK Gambling Commission.

A strong emphasis is placed on responsible gambling – or ‘Safer Gambling’ as it’s labelled on the site. Their dedicated page is extensive, touching upon player security, gambling addiction, and the protection of minors. External links for those that may require further help are also provided.

Punters can set several controls to ensure their gambling doesn’t spiral out of control. These include Deposit Limits, Reality Checks, Time Outs, Self-Exclusions, and Account Closure.

The type of encryption used by the site is unknown, but Pixiebet discusses all things data in their Privacy Policy which is available to view on the website.

Service & Customer Support 4.5/5

  • Poor FAQs section
  • 24/7 Live Chat function
  • Friendly support staff

Pixiebet Contact Page Screenshot

Pixiebet’s FAQs are accessible via a link at the bottom of the homepage as part of the bookie’s ‘Help’ section. Unfortunately, though, their FAQs page is very messy. There’s no structure or organisation, and only a limited number of queries are discussed and solved.

Thus, it’s likely that you’ll need to contact the bookie if you need an issue solving. You can contact Pixiebet via email, but we opted to make the most of their Live Chat function. We were having trouble depositing with a debit card, so this is the issue we led with.

To start a session, we clicked the ‘LIVE CHAT’ icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the homepage. You’ll be able to see it once you scroll down. We then had to list our name, email, and query before our session began.

Pixiebet Live Chat Screenshot

Quickly, though, we were connected.

Pixiebet Live Chat Screenshot

After some discussion, the agent asked us to send us a screenshot of the deposit screen.

Pixiebet Live Chat Screenshot

It was easy to screenshot and attach images, so this was no problem.

Pixiebet Live Chat Screenshot

After checking the screenshot, the agent told us that if we clicked down on any of the payment methods on show and scrolled across, the rest of Pixiebet’s available options would manifest.

We followed the agent’s instructions and were able to find debit card and thus make our first deposit.

Overall, we have little to fault regarding the bookie’s support staff. They were friendly, efficient, and keen to help. Our issue, which was a genuine one, was resolved instantly.

Opinion

Pixiebet’s customer service was a bright spot. We were completely stumped with our inability to deposit via debit card, but the agent we spoke to was able to resolve our issue in very quick time. They were incredibly helpful and similarly efficient when we utilised the live chat service for a second time, too. It was no fluke.

Design & Usability 2.5/5

  • Poor website design
  • Fine technical performance
  • Statistics available

Pixiebet Home Page Screenshot

Pixiebet’s website design is poor. It’s rushed, and far from professional. The structure’s messy and it’s far from easy to access the different components of the sportsbook. A primarily black and purple colour scheme is followed throughout.

There are several avenues in which punters can access the bookie’s pre-match offering. Sports are listed via icons in the centre of the homepage, while a list of leagues and countries manifest down the left-hand side. Markets are shown in the centre, too.

There is a lack of advertisements, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Occasionally, they can look gimmicky.

A ubiquitous bet slip is located on the right-hand side, aiding the betting process, while all the information regarding the bookmaker is found at the bottom of the homepage.

Unfortunately, there is no blog, but a wealth of statistics that span the entirety of Pixiebet’s sportsbook are accessible. Such stats could be useful when coming up with bets.

Mobile 1/5

  • No mobile app

There is currently no Pixiebet mobile app. It’s all desktop as of right now.

Other Products

Pixiebet Casino Screenshot

There’s plenty to get into at Pixiebet’s casino. Various icons indicate which games are available, and they include table games, megaways, lottery games, slots, scratch games, and jackpots. An endless list of games are offered within each.

New customers can also take advantage of Pixiebet’s casino welcome offer. Their welcome package includes three deposit bonuses in which punters can earn up to £500 (in bonuses).

WHAT ARE THE PUNTERS SAYING?

Given that Pixiebet is a new and relatively unknown bookmaker without a mobile app, reviews for the bookie come few and far between. However, the ones we came across were generally negative. Some cited the website’s technical faults as well as the lack of a bet builder and bet boosts as reasons why they look upon Pixiebet unfavourably. There were compliments about the wide variety of payment options and the bookie’s sportsbook, however.

ThePuntersPage Final Say 2.6/5

It doesn’t take long to realise that Pixiebet is not a premier bookmaker. The website’s design makes that obvious. However, this is a new bookie and it’d be unrealistic to expect the finished produce so soon. Sure, they’ve got a long way to go but there are some positive aspects.

Horse racing fans will enjoy their extensive coverage, while the bookie’s support staff are on hand 24/7 to resolve any queries. There are an array of payment methods to select from, with their site functioning well from a technical standpoint.

Right now, though, we feel we feel there is a lot of improvement for Pixiebet and we are eager to see if they make the necessary changes to make this bookmaker better.

Pixiebets FAQs

£5 for the vast majority of Pixiebet’s offered payment methods.

Punters should expect to receive their funds within a couple of days. However, there’s you can extract your winnings via VISA FastFunds which takes a mere 30 minutes.

New customers can earn a free bet should they qualify for Pixiebet’s welcome offer which involves making an initial £10 deposit. Punters will then be credited with £20 in free bets.
